Even the smallest of websites require planning of some sort. Content must be organized in such a way that users can easily find what they want, or they get frustrated and look elsewhere. This not only involves the placement of sections and pages within, but also how those sections and pages are labeled.
Usually your site’s planning can be resolved with a simple numbered outline. Larger sites sometimes benefit from diagrams that more carefully demonstrate a site’s organization, and even interaction, in relation to the user.
